Objective:

Integrate HubSpot with Smartlead or Outbounded to manage compliant, synchronized cold-outreach campaigns and ensure all activity is tracked within HubSpot.

1. Establish the Integration

Use Outbounded or Smartlead as your outreach platform.

Integration options:

• BCC Sync: Add your HubSpot BCC address to all Smartlead sequences (simple setup).
• Webhook Sync (Preferred): Use Smartlead → Make/Zapier → HubSpot for two-way status updates and contact creation.

2. Map Core HubSpot Properties

Create custom properties in HubSpot for:

• Lead Source (Smartlead/Outbounded)
• Outreach Status (Active, Replied, Meeting Booked, Closed)
• Sequence Name (populated automatically from the outreach tool)

These fields standardize reporting and automation.

3. Sync Contacts

Export Tier A and Tier B ICP accounts from your ABM setup.

Before pushing to Smartlead/Outbounded, enrich missing details (title, email, company URL) using Clay or Apollo.io.

Ensure contact ownership aligns with your sales assignment logic.
