OVERVIEW

FLOW OF OPERATIONS

  1. Create a Riverside.fm account here with an online studio.
    1. The free plan on Riverside.fm lets you record and edit up to two hours of audio and video with separate tracks for up to 10 participants.
  2. Think about which clients/customers you’ve delivered results with.
  3. Contact those over email with the below script. (Note: you can skip this step if you speak to them about this over a call. Some orgs also require permissions for video case studies that you will need to address with the client/customer PRIOR to scheduling.)

Hi {insert name},

{insert personalized opener - for example: “I hope your week ended on a high note and you have exciting plans for the weekend.”}

Would you be open to providing a video case study on behalf of {insert company name}? To make it easy for you, I can prompt you with a few questions during a live, recorded session in our online Riverside studio. This setup ensures high video quality, easy exporting, and we have a video editor on hand. I’ll share the questions ahead of time, along with some tech pointers.

How does this sound? Perhaps we can aim for ~30 minutes next {insert day of week} or {insert day of week}. The actual recording part won't take more than ~5-10 minutes.

Please let me know if that works for you.

Best regards,

{Your name}

  1. Agree to a time for the call with them.
  2. Schedule the session at the agreed upon date/time and send them a calendar invite in riverside.fm. Loom here on how to do that with some pointers.
  3. Once scheduled, send them an email with the questions you’ll be asking them and some tech pointers.
